Bouvier des Flandres Club
of Southeastern Michigan Specialties

BdFC of SEM has had the Michigan Regional Specialties since 1985. Our first Regional Specialty was held on March 10th, 1985 at Cobo Hall in conjunction with the Detroit Kennel Club shows. There were over 100 Bouviers in attendance. The Judges were Shirley Horowitz and Bill Hayes with help from the ring stewards, Sandi Goldman and Dottie Stevens. A Banquet was also held with members contributing the food. Through the years our Specialty has moved from March to November and from Cobo Hall in Detroit to the Michigan State Fair Grounds also in Detroit, then to Novi, MI and currently our Specialties are held at the Michigan State University Livestock Pavilion in East Lansing, MI.
